From an original idea sent to us by David Craine the OTG Impact shields allows anglers to fish a long trace or with slack hook line into the shield. Normally a tight trace length is required when using the shield. At the moment we are only suppling these direct to anglers as are made individually and the packaging has not been designed or available but we have been testing and perfecting these for 3 months and are now happy with there performance, Designed to accept hooks up to 8/0 depending on wire diameter, but when loading leave the hook bend clear of bait to give smooth ejection also put a small bait on the hook point to stop the hook falling out of the holder.
