This is the 2016 model from Rob Allen after a massive amount of hours to make an even better guns than his pervious carbons. Rob makes his own carbon, this way he ensure that the quality is the best possible and 2nd to none. These are twice as strong and lighter than the Sutu/Zulu's with a fully airbrushed designed to make it one the the best guns out there. Comes standard with a 7.5mm shaft, black handle and 2 x 16mm black Rob Allen rubbers. New Carbon Barrel is 2x stronger. Air brushed Mahimahi colour barrel. Next Generation Vecta 2 handle & mechanism. 7.5mm Double nitched shaft engineered from ultra tough oil-quenched carbon alloy spring steel. Closed Muzzle with double 16mm Rob Allen Latex rubbers. High Strength, abrasion resistant mono shooting line. Stainless Steel Line Release. Integrated Reel Mounting Bracket. Handle The Tuna is equipped with the latest Vecta handle and mechanism. The entire handle and mechanism cassette is made of glass reinforced polyamide giving it unequaled strength. The join where the handle meets the barrel is critical as any weakness here can be a safety issue and any movement will drastically affect accuracy. The Rob Allen handle consists of a webbed internal spigot that is further reinforced by external shrouds totally eliminating any flex at this critical junction. The handle has an integrated reel bracket so the Rob Allen Vecta reel can be mounted without needing any screws and is shaped to prevent any chance of the shooting line catching when a reel is not fitted. The Vecta grip is moulded of rubber and is held in place by two cheek plates to prevent twisting. There is an extra strong through bolt fitted at the base of the handle for extra strength where the floatline will be attached and the Vecta handle comes with a swivel and shark clip already attached. The Vecta mechanism features a mechanical line release. The sear is laser cut out of solid stainless steel and all pivot pins are made of stainless steel for strength under high loads. Barrel The Tuna features an aircraft grade aluminium barrel with a full length extruded rail. Because the rail is actually extruded it adds huge stiffness and strength helping to make Rob Allen guns the most accurate in the world. Muzzle Our guns are fitted with the new Rob Allen Low-Profile Vecta muzzle. The low-profile of this latest muzzle makes for extremely low drag through the water and the very clear sight pattern along the spear usually reserved for open-muzzle designs. The muzzle accommodates two rubbers that are clipped into place preventing 'muzzle flip' when fired. The shape of the muzzle guides the rubber in a straight line, parallel with the barrel and spear. Like the handle the Vecta muzzle is constructed of bomb proof glass reinforced polyamide and the critical muzzle-barrel interface consists of an extra long internal spigot with external shrouds. Rob Allen Tuna Roller Gun is unlike conventional spearguns in which the rubber bands take up only 30-40 per cent of the barrel length, the roller speargun allows you to utilize the full length of the barrel, as the spear shaft is accompanied all the way to the end of the barrel. Essentially, the roller speargun gets its extra power from the longer band pull, instead of more bands. Likewise, the pre-tensioned rubbers underneath allow for more power and strength right up to the end of stroke. Resulting in more speed and momentum. This increase in power of the Rob Allen Tuna Roller Gun allows for more penetration on the target and more accuracy and range of your shot. Another advantage to roller guns is the way the have less recall due the roller counter acting the rubber releasing both ways.

The Snapper 120cm gun is equipped with a 7mm spear and twin 14mm rubbers. Standard also is the Rob Allen bungee cored with 240kg dyneema and a single wrap of 180kg mono.
The railed barrel is manufactured from aircraft grade aluminium with a wall thickness of 1.45mm and the mechanism is manufactured from glass reinforced nylon and has a solid 316 stainless steel sear.

Vectra 2 Mechanism
The Rob Allen Vecta Mechanism is moulded from PA6 30% GS glass filled Polyamide to handle the power needed to hunt large blue water fish. External shrouds and an internal barrel spigot increase strength at the critical barrel/mechanism interface. Apart from safety considerations, any flex in this area reduces accuracy. Internal webs at several places in the mechanism are designed to spread loading away from high stress areas.
All load bearing pivot pins as well as the sear are manufactured from solid stainless steel. The rubber overgrip is clamped in place by the cheekplates to prevent twist on firing. The spring loaded line release cam returns to position after firing for ease of loading.

The Caranx is equipped with a 7mm spear for hard hitting power and a single 20mm rubber although the aircraft grade aluminium barrel can handle anything up to 2 x 20mm rubbers without compromising accuracy.
