Sea Harvester surf casting shields,
If you need an effective hook and bait release system to increase casting distance then get yourself a pack of these Impact Shields. It's designed to hold baited hooks securely in position to maximise aerodynamics during casting. It's slid onto the main rig body and sits just behind the weight or breakaway sinker.

The baited hook is clipped into the crook. As the water hits the impact shield, it puts pressure on the bottom, pushing the line forward to kick the hook off. It's a simple yet clever design and very useful if you're looking to reach big distances using most types of baits.
