The Shimano Spheros 4000 XG Spinning Reel is new in the SW spinning reel line-up from Shimano. Weighing only 280g it was developed specifically for SW spinning (inshore). In essence, the reel has robust Hagane gearing and X-Ship, a Hagane aluminium body, cross carbon drag washers and Coreprotect technology, making this reel extremely strong and reliable. The Spheros is the first dedicated reel which is available in smaller sizes for a very affordable price.
