Snapper Candy UV Beads are designed to stimulate a snapper’s visual system by enhancing light interaction in the water column. The specialised UV reactive coating is tuned to scatter and disperse UV light, which penetrates deeper and remains more visible to fish than standard colours, especially on overcast or low light days.
On bright sunny days, the same finish refracts and flashes full spectrum light, creating high contrast flickers that mimic the glint of wounded prey. This taps into snapper’s cone rich vision and natural ability to detect contrasting movement and luminescence in their environment, triggering predatory responses even when baits are stationary.
